I’ve been meaning to start blogging again, but never seemed to get around to it. I blogged for several years over on blogspot, but that was almost exclusively user experience. This blog will be a little bit of everything.

For starters, I took some time off from work here at the end of the year. I tend to be bad at that – definitely one of those do as I say, not as I do kind of managers. But it’s been an amazing year at AddThis, and I’m particularly proud of a brand new product I designed called Audience Discovery that allows advertisers to build custom audience segments for digital campaigns using AddThis data from over 15 million domains.

It’s also been a great year for NoVA UX – we passed 2000 members and are coming up on our 50th event in May. We have two events in January, the first next week. More on that when I post about the event.

We added a new member to the family, a Boxer mix named Fancy who we adopted from our favorite shelter and rescue group, Friends of Homeless Animals.

Finally, I’ve been spending a lot more time with Logic Pro X and music in general. I’ll be posting tracks from my SoundCloud page, like this one:
